Equipment

Ingredients

  • 3 large ripe bananas
  • 1 stick butter; unsalted
  • 1 cup sugar; I used cane sugar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cup all -purpose flour
  • ½ tsp. Bellans
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • ½ cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Prepare the Batter:
Start by melting the butter and allowing it to cool slightly. In a large mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth but still slightly textured — this helps create a moist crumb.
Add the sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and eggs. Mix until everything is well combined.
    Add the Dry Ingredients:
Stir in the flour, baking soda, and Bellans seasoning. Mix gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing, as this can make the bread dense.
Fold in the chocolate chips evenly throughout the batter.
    Prepare for the Air Fryer:
Lightly grease a small loaf pan or air fryer-safe baking dish. Pour the batter into the pan.

  • Air Fry:
Preheat your air fryer to 300°F if your model allows.
Place the pan inside the basket and air fry for about 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out mostly clean with a few moist crumbs.
    Step 5: Cool & Serve:
Allow the banana bread to cool in the pan for about 10–15 minutes before slicing. This helps it set and makes slicing easier.
Serve warm… maybe with a little extra butter. Trust me on this one.

Notes

Tip(s):

If the top begins to brown too quickly, loosely cover it with foil halfway through cooking.
